30 Day song Challenge - Day 22

A Song I Listen to When I'm Sad

Seems like I'm having a deja-vu ... Very similar with Day 4 - A Song That Makes Me Sad but not entierly the same. Although this song reminds me of my childhood (and it wasn't a sad one), I still associate it with some sort of sadness or a depressive state. In fact, anything from the album "Headstones" is so wonderful and so perfectly put together plus their unique doom sound and Daniel's voice .... I had this album on tape and continuously listened to "The Path of the Gods (Upon the Highest Mountain, Pt. 2)" and always wanted to see them live. That dream came true at WGT 2011 and their performance was more than touching. True artists indeed as they didn't need any fancy stage or special lighting effects but they made an impressive show... And I fucken spilled a tear when I heard this song live!

So here it is, the song that makes me sad through it's melodic beauty and simple yet powerful lyrics but at the same time calms me down and takes me into the Lake of Tears world...
